They aren’t just Pets, They’re Soul Mates.

Meet my soul-cat, Tila. My fierce protector, my muse. Born July 2007, & left this Earth March 4th, 2025.

Tila and I spent 17 love filled years together. I met her on my 17th birthday, when my wonderful mother gifted her to me. My mom said she was the friendliest & most curious kitten at the MSPCA that day. Little did I know that we would both celebrate our 17th birthdays together, mine being our first meeting, and hers being just before our final goodbye.

Tila spent her final 2 years of life as a diabetic cat, and helped me get over my fear of needles. Our caretaking routine deepened our bond in a way I never expected. I dropped everything to care for her. She taught me what true, unconditional love is. Tila continues to teach me life lessons from over the rainbow bridge, and often shows me signs.

Not everyone understands the love a cat can give, but if you’re here, you probably do. Though I have a million iPhone photos of her, I’m so grateful to have high quality, detailed images of her face, to look at, love and cherish, forever. My work is fueled by the love we shared, and I hope to share that love with you too, as I witness and protect yours.

They aren’t just pets. They’re family.

I grew up with Golden Retrievers. My mom was always a dog person, since her childhood. She used to knock on her neighbors doors to ask if their dogs could come out to play. Despite her parents rule against having a dog, she entered and won her first dog at a church raffle. “Raffles” was his name.

In her adulthood, my mom transformed her love of dogs into a career; becoming a dog-walker, dog-sitter, small-time dog-breeder, and dog-groomer. She opened her own grooming business in her mobile pet salon, driving her van right to your house and pampering pooches, especially ones who loathed car rides.

But my favorite memories will always be when we had 4 litters of puppies from around 2002-2005. Jasmine was our first Golden, and her daughter Daisy was the pick of the litter, who also had 2 litters of her own. It was a miraculous thing to witness our family of pups, and at one point we had 6 Goldens. I want to acknowledge the issues with adopting from breeders, while also honoring my childhood memories. Today, I volunteer regularly at the NHSPCA in Stratham, which is where I recommend you look to find your next best friend.
